Thermaltake RAM Breakdown

While it’s not always the most exciting part of a build, RAM is a vital part of your PC. But with so many options out there on the market, it can be a bit confusing to pick which one suits your system best (and your wallet!). So, here is a breakdown of 5 of our Thermaltake RAM kits, to hopefully make choosing this vital component just a bit simpler.

TOUGHRAM RGB

These RAM kits come in a variety of speeds that can suit any user. On top of that, the design of the TOUGHRAM is certainly one of its most appealing features, coming in both black or white. The gorgeous design, mixed with a stunning RGB strip, makes this RAM truly stand out from the crowd, and looks great in any case. The only drawback of the TOUGHRAM RGB is that it can be a tad pricey, especially the higher MHz options. This sadly doesn’t make it the best choice for a budget build. Regardless though, the TOUGHRAM features tightly-screen ICs to provide optimal frequency and response time performance, as well as coming XMP 2.0 ready. This RAM is for the builder who wants all the bells and whistles ON TOP of amazing quality memory.

TOUGHRAM Matte Edition

These kits are basically the same as the TOUGHRAM RGB, right down to the variety of MHz options and gorgeous design. The way they differ, is the RGB is tapped out in this edition. Instead, the RGB strip is replaced with a simple matte white strip. I myself am running the matte white edition of this RAM and I personally love it more than the RGB version (and I love a bit of RGB!). If you are wanting something a bit more muted, but still love the design and quality of the TOUGHRAM, then this is the perfect alternative for you.

TOUGHRAM RC

This is our latest RAM release. This RAM is technically designed to go alongside our stunning Floe RC AIO RAM and CPU cooler; however, you can run it on its own. I think either way, it’s well worth tapping in. It has a very minimalist design, but if that’s the look you’re going for then this is perfect for you. Coming in a couple different MHz options, it also comes with an aluminium heat spreader, providing exceptional heat dissipation. On top of this, if you do want to upgrade to our Floe RC one day, this is the only RAM that it works with, so you won’t have to worry about buying new RAM to go alongside the stunning cooler.

Z-One RAM

If you are looking for RGB on a budget, then this is the perfect solution for you. The Z-One has a more simplistic design and RGB strip than the TOUGHRAM, but it still provides some gorgeous RGB lighting in a more compact look. It currently only comes in 2 different MHz varieties, and the highest is 3600, so this isn’t for someone who needs super high-end RAM. That being said, it still offers 10 layer PCB construction, a high performance brushed aluminium head spreader and is Intel XMP 2.0 ready – so don’t count this guy out just yet! The Z-One is great for a budget or a first-time build! It does also come with a matte version too, if the RGB is ruining it a little for you!

H-One RAM

If the Z-One was almost your thing, but the slightly fancier design turned you off, then allow me to introduce the H-One. This RAM also offers more variety of MHz, if you are wanting something with a bit more oomph. The H-One offers high speeds and low latency, a high-quality aluminium heat spreader and also comes Intel XMP 2.0 ready. On top of this, this RAM just looks incredibly sleek and minimalist, for all of you who prefer a more professional, non-RGB look. This RAM is a perfect all-rounder, and looks incredible too.

So, there was a quick breakdown of 5 of our Thermaltake RAM kits! Hopefully, this gives you a good idea of what Thermaltake RAM suits you.
